Judith Gail
JUDITH GAIL, MSOD, is a client centered practitioner with over 18 years national experience in organization development and change management. She has successfully worked with and influenced leaders at all levels within organizations to manage and lead in a way that achieve departmental goals while aligning those goals to the system’s strategic plan and bottom line.

As an agent of social change, Judith has designed, developed, and implemented strategies to enhance racial/cultural competency and organizational harmony in public and private sectors. Principles of whole-self development bring a holistic perspective to her work. Over 15 years of her work has been dedicated to creating workplaces in which leaders develop and grow rather than wither and die.

Judith’s clients have included the United States Air Force, DTE Energy, Gogo Industries, Oakwood Health System, National Center for Healthcare Leadership, The Detroit Zoo, the Detroit City Council, Pro AIR Airlines, National Center for Community and Justice, , Christiana Care Health System, NBC’s Detroit affiliate WDIV-TV, Central Michigan University, Detroit Police Department and Bon Secours Health System.

She earned a Master of Science Degree specializing in Organization Development (MSOD), from The American University/NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral Science, in Washington DC. Judith holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from William Tyndale College, in Farmington, Michigan. In addition, she has received professional training and/or certifications, specifically; The Leadership Circle Profile and Executive Coaches Academy.

She lives in DC with her partner and is dedicated to experiences that make her laugh.
Tom Henschel
TOM HENSCHEL grooms senior leaders and executive teams. An internationally recognized expert in the field of workplace communications and self-presentation, he has helped hundreds of executives achieve The Look & Sound of Leadership™.

His expertise as a communications coach has taken him into executive offices at companies such as Amgen, BP Indonesia, CitiGroup, Ernst & Young, Lockheed Martin, State Farm Insurance, Symantec, and Toyota. Tom also delivers training in the areas of presentation, communication, influence and facilitation skills at companies such as Nissan, Taco Bell, Transamerica and NBC/Universal.

His expertise in group dynamics has taken him into the board rooms of companies such as DTS, John Laing Homes, Manhattan Associates, and Warner Bros.

Originally trained as a classical actor, Tom received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The Juilliard School, Drama Division. Before founding Essential Communications, he was a professional actor for more than twenty years appearing in over 100 plays, films and episodes of television. On the other side of the footlights, stage productions under his direction garnered thirteen theater critics' awards, including five for him personally as Best Director.

Tom is Past President of the Los Angeles chapter of the American Society of Training and Development. He lives in Studio City, California, where he is dad to Samantha and Julia.
Michael W. Lomax
MICHAEL W. LOMAX, MLD is a Managing Member with the consulting firm, Strategic Leadership Systems, LLC. The consulting firm provides expertise in strategic planning, crisis management, international relations leadership training, and healthcare selection support for business owners and organizations. Michael has extensive experience in strategic planning, managing multi-million dollar budgets, adult education, coaching, and mentoring of business owners and middle level mangers. He brings teaching and empirical experience in succession planning, affective communications, and business efficiency assessments.

Additionally, Michael is a seasoned insurance executive with 36 years of claims, sales, and marketing experience. He previously served as of Assistant Vice President of Field Claims Operations for Colonial Penn Insurance Company as well as Sales Leader for forty-one of Allstate Insurance Company agency locations. He retired from Allstate in March 2010 and joined the SLS Consulting firm.

Beyond the business area, Michael’s most recent post-academic accomplishments include co-authoring a chapter in the book, The Psychology of Workplace Technology for the prestigious Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology (SIOP) Frontiers Series.
Kathy Malloy
KATHY MALLOY has over 25 years experience consulting with leaders in a variety of businesses, both domestic and international. As an anthropologist with extensive training and experience in business, Kathy brings a unique perspective to organization design, executive coaching and development, and globalization.

She is certified in the use of several interpersonal, intercultural, 360 feedback, and organization design-related tools and programs.

She is the co-author of Getting Results Through Organization Design, published in 2004. Most recently, she co-authored Gaining a Critical Edge in Mastering Globalization for Leadership in Action published by the Center for Creative Leadership, Volume 27, Number 2, May/June 2007.
